Professor of Historical Theology
Aaron Lumpkin has served in pastoral ministry and Christian higher education for nearly a decade. He most recently served as Associate Dean of Students, campus minister, and professor at Missouri Baptist University in St. Louis, Missouri, and as a pastor of Church of the Redeemer in St. Louis. Previously, he served on the pastoral team of Imago Dei Church in Raleigh, NC, and taught at various institutions. Aaron is the co-author of The Sum and Substance of the Gospel: The Christ-Centered Piety of Charles Haddon Spurgeon, and he has written other publications with The Gospel Coalition and various academic journals. He and his wife, Sara, have four children.
