Church planters need to be astute missiologists, well-versed in the Scriptures and culture. Study how to reach real people in real places with the gospel, no matter where you plant.

Pastors strive to present everyone mature in Christ. Develop a vision and methodology from the scriptures aimed at leading your Church to maturity in Christ.

Organizing Your Church
Ministry doesn’t just happen. Pastors must be overseers, doing all things decently and in order. Build a framework for godly church organization in accordance with God’s word.

Leading Like Jesus
Shepherds must look to the Chief Shepherd for wisdom and guidance. Learn how to become a better leader by studying the godly characteristics of a leader.
A Path for Every Grimké Man
Take any PLNT course you like from the Carey Center to strengthen your life and ministry. Here are four paths you can take:
Full Residency
Take all PLNT cores in conjunction with our two-year residency, complete with mentorship, focused seminars, and assessment.
Single Courses
Any PLNT cores or electives can be taken by students pursuing a degree at Grimké Seminary.
Concentration
Take four PLNT courses to add a Concentration in Church Planting to your MTS or a Focus in Church Planting to your BDiv.
Certificate
Not ready to pursue a full degree or residency? Take four PLNT cores and receive a Certificate in Church Planting.
